Fresh off their promotion back to the top flight of English football, West Ham were one of three teams to join Arminia Bielefeld in a tournament celebrating the German club’s centenary.

The Irons didn’t have much to celebrate on the pitch as they lost to both Ajax and Thor Waterschei but their fans enjoyed their hosts’ hospitality and the likes of Trevor Brooking and Billy Bonds got valuable minutes ahead of the new season.
