England’s 1-1 draw with Poland in their final match of qualifying for the 1974 World Cup must be one of the most frustrating matches in the Three Lions’ history.

The disappointing stalemate ultimately cost Sir Alf Ramsey his job but did you know that the 1966 World Cup-winning manager took charge of another England match subsequently?

Sir Alf’s final game was actually a 1-0 defeat to Italy in November, 1973; the match was also notable for being Bobby Moore’s final England performance and as the winner was scored by future England manager, Fabio Capello.

We have framed a genuine matchday programme from that 1-0 defeat to Italy to create a piece of football memorabilia perfect for England fans with a sense of history.

  • Frame dimensions – 27.5cm x 32cm
  • Features a genuine matchday programme from England vs Italy on 14 November, 1973
  • Programme framed in white frame with navy blue surround
  • Frame has glass front, rear hook and stand
