Join The ClubhouseEngland came from behind to beat Wales 2–1 in the British Home Championship at Wembley on 7 May 1969.
Ron Davies gave Wales an early lead before Bobby Charlton equalised and Franny Lee struck the winner after missing a first-half penalty.
The match featured Jeff Astle’s debut and Bobby Moore’s 51st outing as captain as Alf Ramsey’s side stayed on course for the title.
This is a genuine matchday programme and ticket from the England win, both of which remain in very good condition with no major flaws. The England squad numbers have been written in pencil on the centre page.
All programmes sold by Students of the Game are genuine and authentic, originating from the match in question.
We are open and honest about the condition of all programmes we sell. We make every effort to highlight any major flaws – such as tears, marks, team changes or scores, holes, or anything else that may materially affect the condition and, therefore, the value of the programmes.
