Bolton Wanderers were one of a number of British clubs who hosted the best Soviet teams of the 1950s in highly-anticipated friendly matches.
C.D.S.A Moscow arrived at Burnden Park on Monday, 4 November 1957 as four-time winners of the USSR Cup and with a strong reputation but it was the home side who ran out 3-1 winners with goals from Nat Lofthouse, Dennis Stevens and Roy Holden.
This is a genuine matchday programme from the Bolton win which remains in very good condition with no writing or major flaws.
