Bristol Rovers were up against it against title-chasing Hull City when the two met on Saturday, 6 March 1965, but the home side secured a creditable 1–1 draw at Eastville Stadium.
This is a genuine matchday programme from the draw. It remains in good condition, though there are some signs of mottling (as pictured) and the score has been written on the front in pencil.
