Product Details

England defeated Scotland 1–0 in the British Home Championship at Wembley on 11 April 1959 thanks to Bobby Charlton’s towering header just before the hour mark.

The match was historic as Billy Wright earned his 100th cap and captained for the 85th time, while Doug Holden made his debut.

Walter Winterbottom’s side controlled proceedings in front of nearly 100,000 fans.

This is a genuine matchday programme and ticket stub from the England win, both of which remain in good condition with no major flaws although the score has been written in pen in the centrefold and there are pen marks elsewhere on the front and back covers as pictured.
