Chelsea beat Leicester City 3–2 in the League Cup Final first leg at Stamford Bridge on 15 March 1965.

Bobby Tambling scored twice and Eddie McCreadie added another, while Colin Appleton and Jimmy Goodfellow replied for Leicester.

The match featured Chelsea stars Peter Bonetti and Ron Harris, with Leicester’s lineup including England goalkeeper Gordon Banks in front of 42,745 fans.

Chelsea went on to lift the trophy after a 0–0 draw in the second leg at Filbert Street, winning 3–2 on aggregate to claim their first major silverware under Tommy Docherty.

This is a genuine matchday programme from the Chelsea win which remains in good condition with only light signs of age but no team changes or major flaws.
