Product Details

England beat reigning European Champions Czechoslovakia 1–0 in a Wembley friendly on 29 November 1978 thanks to Steve Coppell’s second-half strike.

The match was historic as Viv Anderson became the first Black player to represent England, while Kevin Keegan captained Ron Greenwood’s side and Peter Shilton kept a clean sheet.

Czechoslovakia’s lineup included Antonín Panenka and Zdeněk Nehoda in front of 92,000 fans on a frozen pitch.

This is a genuine matchday programme and ticket from the England win, both of which remain in good condition with no team changes or other writing but some signs of age as pictured.
