Product Details
England edged Northern Ireland 1–0 in the British Home Championship at Wembley on 16 May 1978 thanks to Phil Neal’s first England goal just before half-time, firing home after Dave Watson’s header from a corner.
The match saw Tony Woodcock make his debut and Stuart Pearson bow out with his final cap, while Emlyn Hughes captained Ron Greenwood’s side in front of 55,000 fans.
This is a genuine matchday programme and ticket from the draw, both of which remain in good condition although there is a slight tear in the ticket stub as pictured.
