England vs Scotland Programme & Ticket (15 April, 1961)
Product Details
England demolished Scotland 9–3 in the British Home Championship at Wembley on 15 April 1961, their biggest win in the fixture.
Bobby Robson opened the scoring before Jimmy Greaves hit a hat-trick, Johnny Haynes and Bobby Smith each bagged braces, and Bryan Douglas added another. Scotland replied through Dave Mackay, Davie Wilson, and Pat Quinn, but Walter Winterbottom’s side dominated to seal the title in front of 97,000 fans.
This is a genuine matchday programme and ticket stub from the England win, both of which remain in very good condition although the score and scorers have been written in pen as pictured.
