England vs Scotland Programme & Ticket (18 April, 1953)
Product Details
England drew 2–2 with Scotland in the British Home Championship at Wembley on 18 April 1953 in front of 97,000 fans.
Ivor Broadis twice put England ahead, but Lawrie Reilly equalised each time, including a dramatic late goal that earned Scotland a share of the title.
Billy Wright captained Walter Winterbottom’s side, while Lionel Smith and Mal Barrass bowed out with their final caps in a fiercely contested clash.
This is a genuine matchday programme and ticket from the draw, both of which remain in good condition with no team changes or other writing but some signs of age as pictured.
