Product Details

England lost 3–1 to Scotland in the British Home Championship at Wembley on 9 April 1949 before a record crowd of nearly 100,000.

Jimmy Mason opened the scoring, Billy Steel doubled the lead, and Lawrie Reilly’s header made it three before Jackie Milburn pulled one back for England.

Billy Wright captained Walter Winterbottom’s side in a match attended by Prince Philip and Princess Elizabeth as Scotland sealed the championship.

This is a genuine matchday programme and ticket from the Scotland win, both of which remain in good condition although there is a visible fold and rusty staples.

Genuine Matchday Programmes
