England vs Sweden Programme & Ticket (28 October, 1959)
Product Details
England lost 3–2 to Sweden in a Wembley friendly on 28 October 1959, a historic defeat as Sweden became only the second non-British team to win at Wembley.
John Connelly scored early before Agne Simonsson struck twice and Bengt Salomonsson added a third. Bobby Charlton replied late after Jimmy Greaves’ clever pass, but Walter Winterbottom’s side fell short in front of 80,000 fans.
This is a genuine matchday programme and ticket from the England win, both of which remain in good condition with the score written on the front cover and in the centre.
