Hugo Viana joined Newcastle United in 2002, fresh off being crowned Young European Footballer of the Year.
The Portuguese midfielder showed flashes of brilliance in his debut season and was part of Sir Bobby Robson’s exciting squad that travelled to Malaysia for the inaugural Premier League Asia Cup in 2003.
Newcastle lifted the trophy, overcoming Chelsea, Birmingham City, and the Malaysia national team in a short but memorable tournament.
This Newcastle United home shirt was worn by Viana during the tournament and originally gifted to one of the matchday officials. It features official Premier League Asia Cup sleeve patches, printed club crest and adidas logo, and an inner mesh.
In a men's large, the shirt remains in excellent condition and is a wonderful piece of football memorabilia for Newcastle fans.
